ANNEX 4: QUALITY AND FOOD SAFETY POLICY

VISION

We opened Bar – Restaurant SOFRA E ARIUT because we wanted to prove that it was possible to serve food that both tastes good and does you good. We want to make it easy for people to eat well on our Bar-Restaurant. We want to do this always.
Our menu is inspired by the flavours, variety and natural healthiness of Albanian traditional cooking. Our staff memebers have neccessary competence and is commetted to do the best.
We are members of the Service d'Information Code Diplomatique & Consulaire (SICDC), which had selected and recommend Bar-Restaurant SOFRA E ARIUT to the diplomatic community and to the world's political and economical leadership.


MISSION STATEMENT

To ensure that each guest receives prompt, professional, friendly and courteous service.
To maintain a clean, comfortable and well maintained premises for our guests and staff.
To provide at a fair price-nutritional, well-prepared meals-using only quality & safe ingredients.
To ensure that all guests and staff are treated with the respect and dignity they deserve.
To thank each guest for the opportunity to serve them.
By maintaining these objectives we shall be assured of a fair profit that will allow us to contribute to the community we serve.

 

QUALITY AND FOOD SAFETY STATEMENT

It is the policy of Bar-Restaurant SOFRA E ARIUT to protect the health and welfare of all individuals who consume food produced, processed, prepared by us.
We are committed to business excellence as encapsulated by the following principles:


SERVICE STANDARDS

We shall serve foods that meet or exceed the requirements set by our customers and the relevant regulatory authorities. We shall comply with all the established procedures, quality standards, food safety standards and regulations.

 

COMMITMENT TO FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY

The Managers of Bar-Restaurant SOFRA E ARIUT are committed to support this policy and maintain a quality improvement process, as well as setting and reviewing quality and food safety objectives, taking it as a frame of reference. For this there will be a display of these general objectives into specific yearly objectives, which will be periodically reviewed.
Bar-Restaurant SOFRA E ARIUT shall have documented systems in place based on the principles of ISO 22000:2005 and ISO 9001:2008 standard requirements to control food safety matters.
Bar-Restaurant SOFRA E ARIUT shall have documented systems and procedures in place to ensure unsafe food can be readily identified and removed from service.
Bar-Restaurant SOFRA E ARIUT shall continue to provide the necessary training and education in food hygiene matters for all employees.
Effective systems and procedures for temperature control and humidy shall be instituted in Bar-Restaurant SOFRA E ARIUT to prevent the significant growth of harmful organisms and food borne infections.
The structure of Bar-Restaurant SOFRA E ARIUT and the equipment used therein shall be of appropriate, sound construction and shall be properly and efficiently maintained.


COMMUNICATION

We communicate our POLICY with our customers, employees, suppliers and interested parties and solicit their inputs to enable us to meet their expectations. We actively promote this POLICY across all levels of our employees and encourage them to embrace Quality & Food Safety as their personal commitment. We shall report reportable errors or incidents to the relevant parties and we are committed to an open reporting culture. We encourage sharing of information on Quality & Food Safety and shall always cooperate with auditors.


CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

We shall consistently strive to improve our quality through learning, sharing, benchmarking, innovation and participation in continuous improvement programs. Our SEAL of Quality & Food Safety shall provide the framework for driving our Quality & Food Safety programs to inculcate a quality culture of excellence, innovation and continuous improvement. We shall establish and maintain appropriate controls and conduct periodic reviews of our attainment of set goals.


OBJECTIVES

The Main Objective of Bar-Restaurant SOFRA e ARIUT is the production, processing and wholesale and retail distribution of food for human consumption, with the highest levels of quality and safety, incorporating as differentiating values, skills, experience and latest literature, so as to fulfill the needs of our Customers and their expectations.
Bar-Restaurant SOFRA e ARIUT has established this Policy to achieve following objectives:

  • Ensure the satisfaction of our customers. Meet their requirements and exceeding their expectations.
  • The position of leadership in the field of Food and beverage service activities.
  • A service of highest quality & safety, based on the compliance of applicable law.
  • The economic efficiency of internal negotiations aimed to involve and motivate the whole team, in order to understand the importance of meeting customer requirements and how, with their participations, contribute to achieving the quality & safety goals and improving the system.
